Trustee Information

 We are registered with Bristol City Council and work in partnership with them to deliver high-quality early years education and care. We offer places for both 15 and 30 hours of government-funded childcare, available for eligible 2, 3 and 4-year-olds. We also work closely with the Council’s Early Years Specialist Teams, including the Early Years Portage and Inclusion, who provide additional support, advice and training to help us meet the individual needs of every child. 

 Elmtree Preschool is registered and therefore regularly inspected by Ofsted (The Office for Standards in Education). Ofsted ensures that we meet national standards for early years provision, safeguarding, teaching and leadership. 

We had a successful registration visit in March 2023, this holds a pass or fail grading, and no report is provided for this visit. We are due to be inspected during the next academic year, 2025-2026. You will be able to view our Ofsted report here; Elmtree Preschool Ofsted .

 We are members of the Early Years Alliance, a national organisation that champions high-quality early years education. Through this membership, we access high quality training and information, expert legal, HR and policy support, professional development tools, and also our public liability insurance. Being members provides reassurance to families and ensure we meet our legal and ethical responsibilities as Early Years providers.
