Opening Hours

We offer the following sessions;

Full day: 8.40am - 3.15pm

Morning: 8.40am - 12.00pm

We are a Term time only preschool - following Bristol's academic year calendar.

2026/27 availability

We have spaces available for September. These are filling up fast. We will be arranging an open morning in June/July.

Sessions available

We have received several enquiries for Friday mornings, and our Thursday sessions have been consistently quiet, particularly the afternoons. We are looking into offering the following sessions

Monday - Wednesday

Morning 8.40 - 12.00

Full day 8.40 - 3.15

Thursday & Friday

Morning 8.40 - 12.00

Packed Lunch Club 8.40 - 1.30

Please note we are just in the exploring stage of this, our current hours remain as Monday - Thursday 8.40-12 or 8.40 - 3.15 until further notice.

Children bring their own packed lunch.

15/30 Funded Childcare hours can be used for all sessions.

Competitive fee rates.

There is a small and reasonable consumable charge from just £1 per session* inclusive of snacks

Play - Explore - Grow - Together

Our aim is for Elmtree Preschool to have a child centred, free flow environment, with a home from home feel. Where each child can grow in confidence and thrive.
We like to keep our session numbers small, with usually between 12 - 16 children attending each session.
This helps form part of our ethos of creating a welcoming and supportive small preschool community, providing high quality education, care and attention to all the children and their families.

Management qualifications include;

-Early Years Teacher Status 0-5 years (post graduate/ level 6)

We believe every child deserves the chance to play, explore and grow together, in a safe and nurturing environment.

We are registered with the Charity Commission as a not-for-profit preschool - in short, this means all funds go directly back into the preschool. Our budget is formed and used in line with one of our core values; the benefits for the children.
